  1. Looks like a decent way to put out a sharing thing for a table.

Lattice fries and lettuce is a bit of a disappointment for that though.

Caesar salad with waffle fries? I’d crush tbh

  3. Cold soggy fries and lettuce with just dressing, white girl summer is lit.

It’s Syracuse and it would impress people coming in from Pulaski.

  6. Soup_Sensitive

If it was all fried things it’d be a fine way to share, but what the hell is the lettuce for?

  7. Hippies_Pointing

Katy Perry really falling hard in 2025

I wouldn’t call this an abomination, just a little ill advised imo. You’d have to eat those fries quick to prevent sogginess and the ratio feels way off. What do you do if you run out of fries before salad? Eat it with your hands?

  9. tone_creature

Yeah please! Because I’m sure there’s not many a restaurant that has fries and Caesar salad….

it does seem fire but thirty big ones is crazy

This dish shouldn’t be over $20 tbh, Caesar salad no protein is usually like $14 max, fries are like $7 max usually unless they are truffle fries with black truffle oil etc.

$30 for waffle fries and a bad Caesar? Chic fil a bout to have a new summer salad.

I like waffle fries, and I like salads too. I also enjoy a good cup of coffee, but please don’t pour it in there with everything else.

  15. jsmalltri

That’s sad looking, I would pay $9 for that, nevermind $29!

There are two separate ideas here that each could work on their own, but not together.

    1. Fries on a Caesar salad? Sure, I’d smash that. But I don’t want salad, or anything where I’m putting a lot of downward pressure with a fork, out of a top-heavy martini glass. That’s asking for trouble.
    2. Fries out of a giant martini glass. Silly, but why not. Fries, or better yet loaded fries, or any finger food would work. But, as stated above, nothing you have to press down with utensils to eat.

Casey Anthony enjoying a girls night out.

Imagine putting any pressure on the lettuce with a fork in that thing. I feel like they got this idea from Chatgpt or something.

Edit: I had not read the other comments yet. Holy cow.

I’m all about dirty martinis, Caesar salad, and duck fat truffle fries (or waffle, I guess 😒) but not touching! My god.

I mean /r/wewantplates but overall it sounds awesome. Caesar salad and waffle fries? Delicious.

So I didn’t realize this was a local thing until I moved out of state but there’s a popular food item called a “Pittsburgh Salad” that’s literally a garden salad with meat and fries. I made one after I moved and got the craziest looks, that’s when I learned it wasn’t universal.

The temperatures and textures work nicely, tastes great. So I have zero issues with this pic aside from the glass.
